He is Pioneer Retina surgeon of Pakistan. His meticulous services have been recognized within the country as well as abroad. He has earned several National & International awards, including Pride of Performance awarded by President of Pakistan. He was also given Life time achievement & living legend Award. He has served in various assignments and appointments in Pakistan and remained associated with number of Institutions in Pakistan. He is Medical Director of Al-Ain Institute of Eye Diseases. He is Chairman of Ethical Committee Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan since its inception. He is Medical Director (Honorary) of LRBT, and also Member Board of Trustees of LRBT Pakistan. He has been Head of the Eye Department Liaquat National College. He also is Examiner / Supervisor for the Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. He was the First President of Vitreoretinal Society of Pakistan. He has been the President of Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan Karachi branch. He was also Head of Adamjee Foundation Retina Clinic and Vitreo retinal department of Al-Shafa trust eye hospital Pindi. OSP has installed an ethical gold medal in his name as “Dr. Mukhtar Ethical Gold Medal.” It is given to any ophthalmologist whose practice is adjudged as the best ethical practice.
He is a Charter Accountant and a Banker, He is CEO of MYK Associates Private Limited. He is providing the services of Surveyors, inspections, valuations, consulting Engineers. Mr. Khan has years of professional experience in the banking and corporate sector combined and heads the MYK Group of Companies with other professionals. Formerly Mr. Khan has been the Country General Manager of Deutsche Bank in Pakistan. He has also been on the Board of Directors for the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC), and National Refinery Limited (NRL), two of the largest companies in the Oil Sector of Pakistan.
He is Provincial Secretary of Hilal –E- Ahmer (Pakistan Red Crescent Society). A very versatile person with lot of vigor and vision. He is a very helping hand. He has lot of associations and connections in all fields of Charity and Corporate Social responsibility.
Dr. Manzoor A. Mirza is an Ophthalmologist / a famous Eye Specialist in Pakistan, he is practicing in Karachi. He holds MBBS, D.O, FRCS, FRCO degrees and has numerous years of experience. His charity work is recognized in Interior of Sindh. He also holds regular eye camps in Azeemabad Nawabshah for last 28 years.
Barrister-at-law, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, holds degrees in economics and law, from St. John’s College, University of Cambridge. Mr. Khalid Anwer started his legal career in 1962 and soon became a partner at A. K. Brohi & Co. (as the firm was previously known) with the Late Mr. A. K. Brohi. Since then, Mr. Khalid Anwer has been involved in numerous landmark constitutional and commercial cases. From 1997 to 1999 he served as a Senator and as the federal Minister for Law, Justice, and Human Rights.
He is a Chancellor of Indus University chartered by Government of Sindh and recognized by the HEC. He is also Chairman of Association of National &International Universities Research & Education Center. He is also Chairman of Pakistan Silk & Rayon Mills Association.
Miss Naseem Wazir is a graduate from Karachi University. She has done Masters in Political Sciences. She is a prominent social worker. She has vast experience in the field of charity and has developed good social contacts in community and also in the corporate sector. She has been associated with Al-Ain Institute of Eye Diseases in various capacities for the past 15/20 years. She is a life Member of ERWO. She is heading and formulating a team to collect donations for ERWO. She managed to collect substantial amount as donation from various persons including from renowned companies. She has recently been elected unopposed General Secretary of ERWO.
He is an advocate of the High Court of Sindh. He completed his schooling from the Karachi Grammar School in 2003. He obtained his HBA degree from the University of Toronto with a major in History and minors in Political Science, and Philosophy in 2007. He received his L.L.B, and L.L.M degrees in Commercial Laws, from the University of London in 2009, and 2011 respectively. He started his legal career in 2010, and in 2014, he became a partner with Khalid Anwer & Co.
He is a retired Army Officer, has rich experience in Military civil organizations, He worked in Intelligent Bureau for a couple of years. He has also worked in multinational Companies like Mari Petroleum Company, Engro Powergen in interior of Sindh for two decades and also in Hub Power Company –Hubco handling CPEC Projects as well. He as Sr.Manager Administration, CSR & Security has adequate experience of handling Corporate Social Responsibilities of these companies. He has done a number of charitable works in the interior of Sindh and Baluchistan in education, health, poverty elevation and infrastructure. He has volunteered to work as Honorary CEO of Elza Retina Welfare Organization.
